Ruby-red. Floral aromas of berries, chocolate and sweet oak. Lush, pliant and suave, with a smoky character and a sappy sweetness. Elegantly styled wine thatrsquo;s at once sweetly fruity and dry. Finishes with broad, fine tannins and considerable style.

Flashy style, with lots of black tea, fig, sweet toast, black currant, bittersweet chocolate, plum and blackberry compote aromas and flavors. Long and lush, this is concentrated, but stays balanced and alluring. Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Caberne... Wine Spectator. A Proprietary Blend wine from Stellenbosch in South Africa. 2001 Rustenberg John X Merriman 750ml
