Ruinart Blanc de Blancs NV
Made exclusively from Chardonnay grapes, Ruinart Blanc de Blancs is smooth and rounded on the palate. A balanced wine with a beautiful luminous pale gold colour, enhanced by the elegance of the clear bottle. A perfect summer aperitif champagne, delectable sipped by the pool or on a sunny terrace. At table, a light, delicate dish such as grilled sole would be the perfect partner.
Creamy fresh balanced sublime delicious had it all. Very enjoyable as apertif or just on its own.
Great wine with wonderful aroma, mouth feel and finish. Highly recommended.
Continue to love this wine. Aroma is classic champagne with toasty aromas with yeast and dough. Great acid with a nice acidity with a cookie dough character and long finish.
Opens up with a clear lemony nose. This wine is very fizzy, although the bead is fairly fine. Overall, its a light champagne, with a delicate biscuit flavor. Nice
Lightly floral, lemony nose leading to a wine of higher acidity than Krug, for example. Exceptionally fresh and vibrant. A nice crisp, clean finish with some pleasant chalky aftertaste.
1st tasting at CBWF champagne class. Nothing special.

The Wine News ReviewFloral scents of apple blossom, lemon and vanilla have a Sherry edge. Beery flavors of apple, citrus and pecan. Dry, malty finish.Wine Tasting NotesThe wine shows a superb, golden yellow color with a beautiful luminosity and a fine and persistent mousse. The nose is clean and intense with warm, rich notes of brioche, French toast and roasted almonds. On the palate the wine is very supple and harmonious, with notes of honey and minerals on the long, sustained finish.
Pale yellow. Flamboyantly aromatic bouquet displays kiwi, passion fruit, poached pear and smoked meat, with bright baking spices adding vibrancy. Impressively lively and precise on the palate, where the repeating pear and smoky meat qualities are joined by a refreshingly bitter lemon pith flavor on the finish. I love this smoky, dry style. Delicate and floral, with citrus blossom, apple and ginger notes. Nicely balanced, picking up some textural detail on the finish. Ideal as an aperitif. Drink now through 2010. -BS

This latest creation from the historical Maison Ruinart, a non-vintage Blanc de Blancs made from Chardonnay grapes is sensational. Presented in a bottle that is the exact replica of the 18th century Ruinart champagne bottle, the superb golden yellow liquid glimmers enticingly through the clear glass. Irresistible and seductive, the champagne has a clean, intense first nose followed by warm rich notes of brioche, honey and roasted almonds with sweet lemony overtones.

From the oldest Champagne house in the world comes this blend of 100% Premier Cru Chardonnay from different years. The golden yellow color leads to a toasty nose and slight mineral notes on the palate.
