External Reviews for Ruffino Santedame Chianti Classico
Plummy, with a light chocolate and mineral edge. Medium-bodied, with fine tannins and a clean finish. Drink now.
The 2005 Chiant Classico Santedame is a Chianti to drink in its youth while its perfumed red fruit remains fresh and lively.
Sweet oak notes of almond, vanilla and honey over a portion of fresh fruit. They also provide a modern approach that will go down well with the international palate. At the same time, the wine has background notes of blue flowers and delicate perfumes that remind you of the beautiful Tuscan territory.
Slightly jammy plum, with floral and mineral notes. Medium-bodied, with a twist of chocolate on the finish. Best after 2003.
Rich and full-bodied with strong aroma and flavors of licorice and black cherry.
Gorgeous and vivacious, with dried cherry, mineral and fruit aromas and flavors. It's medium in body, has fine tannins and a fresh finish. Best Santedame in years. Drink or hold.
