- Santedame Chianti Classico is Ruffinos richest Chianti, other than the two Riserva Ducale bottlings. It is deep ruby red in color.Its aroma rivets the taster with concentrated black cherry, mingled with strawberry, violets and licorice. On the palate, it is rich and full, with a concentrated, almost jammy black cherry intensity. Soft tannins impart a velvety texture, and a long finish points to true breed in the wine.
