- Modus was first produced in 1997 and is the latest arrival among the top quality wines marketed under the Tenimenti Ruffino brand. It is also the only Ruffino wine that is a blend of three grape varieties. Modus is the result of the combination of Chianti Sangiovese with two varieties originally from France and with a new homeland in Tuscany: Merlot & Cabernet Sauvignon. Complex and inviting with delicate floral notes. Aromas of red berries, cherry jam and red licorice with a touch of mint and spice.
