- Blend: 90% Sangiovese, 10% other varieties admitted by Chianti code production Color: Ruby red Aroma: As always, this Chianti features a deliciously vinous bouquet, where the floral and fruity notes lead toward a finish of slightly spicy scents of white pepper and hazelnuts. Tasting profile: Medium-bodied, Chianti Ruffino is pleasantly fruity, harmonious and persistent. This is a young Sangiovese which is a perfect match for a wide variety of traditional Italian dishes.

- Light-bodied with hints of spices, this wine should age well over the next 2 years.

- Great with Gourmet Pizza!

- ok - here's the deal. I like Chianti, i just feel like it's waaay overrated; especially when the San Giovese (sp?) grapes are young. with time and age they mature well, without that though - it's too rough around the edges for true connoisseurs... ma, solo secondo me

Ruffino always seems to turn out a pretty good Chianti. This one definitely fits that category.
Nice fruity aroma that follows through on the tasting. Fairly long and clean finish - the fruity taste lingers.
Very good quality wine, particularly considering the price.
