This is one of my favorite wines from Rubicon or anywhere for that matter. I drink mostly cabs, but this wine is just lovely. It has a beautiful nose. Not to sweet, not to dry.
100% Cabernet with very distinct components. However, not very well integrated or balanced. Good tannins and good acidity. Cola, smoke and spice. Interesting because components appear individually for me. Time could help?
Another disappointment in the Rubicon line. I was wondering if my palate was shot at this point but everyone I was with agreed with me. Nose had a combination of floral and red/black cherry. Had good acidity but low on fruit flavors. No finish.
full flavor, delicious - right blend of spirit and taste !!
