RiceSelect's fragrant Jasmati® is blended with eggs, milk and fall's favorite spices, cinnamon and nutmeg, to create a delicious rice pudding, which is layered on top of fluffy cream cheese and abuttery pecan crust. Pairs well with a bold, tawny port with flavors of dried fruits, nuts, and spices.
Food Pairings for Royal Tokaji Aszu Red Label 5 Puttonyos Muscat Blanc. Furmint. Harslevelu Tokaji
The first Tokaji Aszu wine was created in the 1600s and Tokaji became the first European region to have its vineyards classified, 1st Growth, 2nd Growth, 3rd Growth, a system still used in Hungary today. World Wars and Communism halted quality winemaking. In 1989, inspired by wine author, Hugh Johnson, RTWCs founders started the winery in an effort to preserve what they considered a dying art. Red Label is a blend of selected grapes from several of Royal Tokajis first and second growth vineyards with only eight vintages produced since its premier release in 1990.
