Royal Bitch is a brand of wines produced in Chile, a private label of Joseph Victori wines. Their motto is, “You can be a bitch, or you can be a royal bitch.” We’re not exactly sure what this has to do with Chilean wines, but these are produced from grapes selected by various growers, mostly in the Aconcagua region. They are available in classic Chardonnay, Merlot, Shiraz and Pinot Noir.
RiceSelect's creamy Arborio gets blended with sweet potato, coconut milk and vanilla to create this decadent cheesecake. Pairs well with Saunternes; a white dessert wine that has hints of coconut from aging in oak barrels.
A lot better than I thought it was going to be.
I received a bottle of Royal Bitch Merlot 2008 as a gift in '10' & cracked it open in early '11'. The flavor was assertive with most notably prune & olive flavors. This combination of flavors was a difficult match. I try to find a positive in all wines experienced, but after a period of time & several tastes of this wine; we decided that it wasn't even good enough to add to the red wine vinegar jug. We probably consumed less than an ounce, before deciding that we couldn't drink any more of it. I rate this wine very poor. The rest of the bottle ended up gong down the drain of our kitchen sink.
