Roux's very rich Gevrey-Chambertin spent 18 months in oak. Powerful and balanced. Capable of aging 12 to 15 years. This wine comes from marly and chalky Pinot Noir vineyards around the village of Gevrey-Chambertin. this is a deep colored red Burgundy with aromas of cherries, and raspberries. On the palate, it is a powerful and well-balanced. medium-bodied wine with good acidity, cherry fruit, and a touch of wood. Its finish is on fruit with light, well-integrated tannins. Serve now to 2015 with leg of lamb, stews, roast duck, or soft cheeses.Pair With: Blooming Rind Cheese, Brined Cheese, Duck, Lamb, Stews
