Sumptuously rich fruit followed by flavors that are astoundingly complex and powerfully long with magisterial elegance. This is supreme in its expression of that which is Chambertin, offering power without weight yet an intensity and pungency of flavors that must be experienced to be believed. This wine has improved like a rocket since it was released and while there are still solid but ripe finishing tannins, it is slowly approaching its peak.
