Black fruits on the nose, black currant and blackberries. It's still slightly hot but the acidity is is balance with the smooth tannins, oak and leather.

More mineral than both the 2002 and the 2004 vintages. Basically a brighter wine with more oomph all round, bing cherries versus prunes in the other vintages. Still mineral with some cocoa and chocolate on the finish. Soft and earthy but nice.
