Member Review by Mark Angelillo:

Pleasant and easy drinking, with loads of apple flavors, stone fruit, and a bit of a creamy finish. Very nice for the price!

Round Hill Vineyards & Cellars:
Rutherford Wine Company is family owned and managed with a portfolio of wines representing the rich diversity of California’s outstanding appellations. Uncompromising and ecologically far-sighted viticulture is an ethical imperative for us. Though more labor intensive than prevalent commercial winegrowing methods, our efforts are rewarded with fruit rich in flavor and character. And great fruit is a prerequisite for making great wine.
Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Coconut Rice Sweet Potato Cheesecake

RiceSelect's creamy Arborio gets blended with sweet potato, coconut milk and vanilla to create this decadent cheesecake. Pairs well with Saunternes; a white dessert wine that has hints of coconut from aging in oak barrels.

Lots of peachy and lemony fruits, would definitely recommend this wine to fruit-levels, it's bursting. Very smooth flavor, with light acidity. The taste doesn't carry very long, but taking another sip is easy.

Light lemon, slightly peachy nose. Complex and sweet in the mouth with medium acidity and a nice complex peachy finish- I'd swear there was some Viognier in here. Amazing for the price.

I can actually smell the Viognier...this is a medium gold, medium bodied, softer acidity wine. melony, floral, somewhat rich but not too buttery. quick finish, but better than it has to be for the price.

90% Chardonnay3% Viognier2% Sauvignon Blanc2% Muscat Canelli3% other white varietals This Chardonnay blends the forward fruit flavors of fresh pears, ripe peaches and apricot making this the perfect wine to serve with grilled chicken breast pasta salad, roasted red snapper with sprigs of rosemary or grilled pork loin. Shaved Reggiano parmesan and pesto over your favorite pasta is also an ideal companion to this wine.
