- andi thought no zinfandel could compare to orin swift's. as a huge fan of the rotta winery as a whole, i fear i am being a bit biased, however --- this zinfandel has HUGE currant and berry flavors with a hint of pepper, and what i recognized as nectarine, although others noted differently. the bite of spice on the nose compliments the long and vivid currant finish.
