Tirant Lo Blanc was a heroic medieval knight, responding to the feudal chivalry ideals and principles proper to the Middle Age. His heroic deeds range from medieval tournaments to unceasing wars and maids and princesses rescuing.
This hero is strong, burly, clever but also refined and elegant; he symbolizes a dark-coloured wine with substance, huge, with structure and richness in tannins, strong and powerful but also subtle, elegant, pleasant and exquisite, it is named Tirant 03.

- "...a more refined version of the Amadis with more complexity and elegance, but nevertheless still a beast of a wine. The purple/black color is followed by aromas of melting tar, blueberries, blackberries, and a touch of vanillin. The wine is dense and rich with layers of flavor, the tannin well hidden by the fruit. Give this bad boy another 4-6 years of cellaring and drink it for 15 years thereafter...96" WA 2/07.

- ($87) Light red. Highly perfumed aromas of raspberry, strawberry, redcurrant and minerals, with complicating notes of tobacco and mocha. Pure, balanced and light on its feet but utterly packed with deep, concentrated red fruits. Finishes fresh and pure, with fine, almost sweet tannins and superb length. A wine of remarkable clarity, sweetness and balance.

- The Rotllan Torra winery is housed in a former monastery on a steep hillside in the Priorat region. With its sweet aromas of blue and black fruits, the Tirant, made from old-vine Grenache and Carignan, explodes with power on the palate. It finishes with toasty goodness.
