Editorial Reviews for Rotari White Blend Brut Riserva
A little bit figgy on the nose with rich notes of brioche, sultanas, flowers, and a light mineral base. This is nicely rich in the mouth, with good depth of flavor. There is a nice edge of peach fruit up front followed by a rather full mid-palate rich with lightly toasty, nutty cake dough flavors. The finish offers up a nice dried citrus rind tone that leads to an elegant mineral and smoke finale that echoes with a gentle sweetness. Refined and elegant in a rich yet friendly style. 90pts
Quite doughy at first with a lightly waxy, smoky underlay over which are layered light apple and pear fruits. Gentle in the mouse with a fine mousse and bright flavors of apple accented with a touch of tangerine and offering some lime zest and a touch of bitter apple on the moderately long finish. This is quite a focused sparkling wine with refreshing acidity and clean, pure flavors. 87pts
Very pretty on the nose, with a gentle base of floral, acacia, some gum and a hint of chalk, over spiced apple fruit that really pops on the palate. This is very well balanced, with a nice edge of spice, just a hint of yeast to add complexity and pure apple, yellow plum and light spice coming together nicely in the mouth. The finish is a touch short but nicely clear, with citrus overtones to the bitter apple peel fruit. 87pts
Easy to drink brut for any special occasion. Slow start but packed with flavor that bounces of the tongue. The finish lingers and invites you to get another sip. Wonderfully made and a great price!
Fun, zesty nose of flowers and fresh tropical fruits. Light and fun with nice flavor. Crisp, with the creaminess building. Some salinity on the mid palate. Overall, refreshing and nice.
Very pale, copper yellow with thin sporadic bubbles throughout. Apple, peach, apricot, and almond on the nose. A persistent effervescence creates a tingly mouthfeel, like Pop Rocks: you continue to feel the prickly of tiny bubbles of carbonation long after you think it's finished and swallow. Light/medium bodied with crisp acidity and apple, apricot, and a faint ginger-ale taste. Finishes long and left my palate feeling clean. This would be an excellent aperitif or a summer drinker.
Slightly metallic, apple and honey nose. Golden color, with yeasty flavors, pear and apple. Good acidity and a burnt toastiness that fills the whole palate. Nice.
Light floral fruity nosen with wet wool and parsley, the mouth has pineapple and papaya flavors with cocoa butter, and something that's a bit soapy.
creamy lemon like characteristics. citrus notes combines with biscuits and breakfast. crisp, acidic and simplistic
lemon peel and grapefruit spritzer on the nose. the palate is refreshing as well, citrus fruits, toast and creme brulee
