Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Coconut Rice Sweet Potato Cheesecake

RiceSelect's creamy Arborio gets blended with sweet potato, coconut milk and vanilla to create this decadent cheesecake. Pairs well with Saunternes; a white dessert wine that has hints of coconut from aging in oak barrels.

A little bit figgy on the nose with rich notes of brioche, sultanas, flowers, and a light mineral base. This is nicely rich in the mouth, with good depth of flavor. There is a nice edge of peach fruit up front followed by a rather full mid-palate rich with lightly toasty, nutty cake dough flavors. The finish offers up a nice dried citrus rind tone that leads to an elegant mineral and smoke finale that echoes with a gentle sweetness. Refined and elegant in a rich yet friendly style. 90pts

Slightly metallic, apple and honey nose. Golden color, with yeasty flavors, pear and apple. Good acidity and a burnt toastiness that fills the whole palate. Nice.

Lemon and melons on the nose. Bready, and cheesy - brie. Dry finish. Good stuff.

Peaches and quince on an otherwise floral nose. Light bready flavors. Soft and smooth with a little sugar, but its not sickly sweet or overpoweringly so.

Strawberries, bananas, lots of fruit and lemon zest on the nose. The finish is dry, with cherries and vanilla.
