Rotari Metodo Classico Brut Chardonnay. Pinot Noir Trentino-Alto Adige NV
Editorial Reviews for Rotari Metodo Classico Brut Chardonnay. Pinot Noir Trentino-Alto Adige
Very pretty on the nose, with a gentle base of floral, acacia, some gum and a hint of chalk, over spiced apple fruit that really pops on the palate. This is very well balanced, with a nice edge of spice, just a hint of yeast to add complexity and pure apple, yellow plum and light spice coming together nicely in the mouth. The finish is a touch short but nicely clear, with citrus overtones to the bitter apple peel fruit. 87pts
Bright, crisp pear aroma with a nice low level of hay funkiness. The body is very smooth and creamy, minerally finish.
Used the bottle to toast all mothers on Mother's Day 2013. Also toasted my need to buy more bubbly because this was the last of the sparkling wine in my modest cellar/collection. The contents of the bottle proved adequate for the occasion to my nose and taste buds. Good value and I will look for it again.

Wine Enthusiast ReviewFestive and less formal, this is a luminous sparkler with ripe melon, peach and toasted nutty notes that hits all the right marks. Nicely tart on the close with clean flavors and tight structure. The price tag is on target, too.
