Italy's Trentino region is home to some of the world's most celebrated sparkling wines. The unique microclimate between Lake Garda and the Italian Alps is where vineyards are planted with Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes. These noble varietals, nurtured carefully throughout the year and hand selected at harvest, are the foundation of Rotari's refined Talento sparkling wines. The search for the highest quality fruit begins in the steeply terraced vineyards (ranging 950 to 2,500 ft. above sea level) of Trentino Denomination of Controlled Origin (DOC) zone. Produced using the Talento metodo classico, each wine undergoes secondary fermentation in the bottle and is aged on its lees for a minimum of 24 months. Rotari offers a full line of complex and distinctive sparklers with a fine perlage that showcases the unique aromas of the appellation. Ideal as an aperitif, these wines are also sophisticated accompaniments to international cuisine. Read less

Nice even aroma, with cranberry, cherry, kiwi, and banana. The acidity and dryness play off well against one another. There's a good tastiness factor.

More accolades for this amazing sparkling rose. It received the Chairman's Trophy from the Ultimate Beverage Challenge! It was #13 on Wine Enthusiast Magazine's 2010 Top 100 Best Buys and once again it was chosen as a Wine Enthusiast Magazine Top 100 Best Buy of 2013 AND was pictured on the cover of the November issue! Why? Because this delectable Talento rose comes to you at tremendous value. Since 2005 the term "Talento" has been exclusively reserved for Italian sparkling wines produced in the champagne method and may only be made from Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Blanc. All three were carefully blended for this delicate salmon-colored rose. Wine Enthusiast Magazine scored it 90 points saying "An outstanding value wine that hits all the right spots both on the nose and in the mouth, this rosé sparkler would taste great on a hot summer afternoon. Light touches of peach, cranberry and pink grapefruit segue to creamy foam and warm touches of freshly baked bread."

Just selected #13 In Wine Enthusiast Magazine's Top 100 Best Buys of the Year!! And the only other sparkling wine on the list is #94! The remarkable thing about this delectable Italian sparkler is that it is produced entirely by the champagne method which is expensive and time consuming. Yet, it still comes to you at tremendous value. Chardonnay and Pinot Noir (just like in Champagne) are blended for this scintillating rose. An 89 point Best Buy in Wine Enthusiast Magazine who said "you can’t beat the price-versus-quality ratio of this lovely sparkling rosé from northern Italy. The wine is intensely fragrant and offers enduring tones of peach, almond and yeast. It has a cooling freshness and a touch of spice on the finish.”

Just selected #13 on Wine Enthusiast Magazine's 2010 Top 100 Best Buys of the Year!! And the only Methode Champenoise on the list! Why? Because Method Champenoise is a costly and time consuming process that brings the best quality to sparkling wine but in most cases it also brings up the price.
