Each year the Poggio Nardone Estate does this commemorative bottling of Rosso di Montalcino. The owner, the winemaker and the importer's babies were all born on the same day, so in celebration, I Tre Bimbi (The Three Babies) was created. 2006 is an outstanding vintage and this wine reflects the stellar quality and character it bestowed. Barrels of Rosso that showed the most intense flavors and character are chosen from the lot and bottled separately for this limited offering. The little brother to Brunello, aged 10 months in French oak this full bodied Rosso is everything you'd expect read more...
