Rosso di Montalcino Il Poggione 2015

External Review by WineExpress.com:

#46 on the Wine Spectator Top 100 for 2016!! The baby brother of the iconic wine, this is a younger, more accessible version of the Il Poggione Brunello, but with an excellent structure and a great personality. Produced entirely from the estate's younger vineyards, This Rosso is aged for 12 months in large casks before bottling. Wine Spectator scored this 91 points saying "Bright, delicate and vibrant, with berry and floral flavors. Accents of earth, tobacco and spice add interest as they linger on the finish. Well-rounded and long. Drink now through 2023."
