Rossignol Trapet Domaine Gevrey Chambertin Premier Cru les Corbeaux Pinot Noir Wine 2010

External Review by JJ Buckley Fine Wines:

This is very Gevrey with the distinctly animale hints to the cool earth-inflected aromas that include cassis plum and black berry. The exceptionally rich round and suave medium-bodied flavors possess a highly seductive texture with an abundance of palate coating extract that pushes the otherwise firm tannic spine to the background on the dusty serious and solidly focused finish. Good juice and potential here. Burghound.

A wild cherry and red currant nose that is more overtly sauvage in character than the Cherbaudes gives way to bigger and richer medium-bodied flavors that possess a textured mouth feel as well as a bit more power and length on the firm dusty and ever-so-mildly rustic finish. Burghound.

A slightly riper nose of mostly fresh red berry fruit aromas laced with hints of earth and game give way to textured and relatively suave medium-bodied flavors that possess more overall depth and good finishing power on the persistent back end. This offers a bit more Gevrey character and solid complexity. Burghound.
