- The wine shows a dark brick-red colour with a purple tinge. A raspberry fruit nose is displayed, which is typical of the vintage. There is also an obvious smokey American Oak aroma. Rich, ripe blackcurrant/blackberry flavours abound on the palate which are enhanced by a slight touch of pepper. These flavours will further complex with additional bottle age. This is a truly elegant wine style, indicative of the vintage.
