Rosenblum Paso Robles Zinfandel 2010
Complex fruit drives our 2010 Paso Robles Zinfandel, opening with a heady combination of mulberry, rhubarb and plum. Licorice and hints of violet complement the rich, dark fruit aromas. On the palate, bright acids give lift to fresh raspberry and black cherry flavors, followed by firm tannins that accompany the long finish. The wine has an appealing versatility for food, perfect for almost any pasta dish, whether a creamy Carbonara or a meaty ragù.
What a great tasting Zinfandel. Again, one of the local LCBO vintage wine clerks picks! It is very similar to the Dry Creek Vineyard Zinfandel. Beautifully fruit forward with a hint of what I can only describe as honey comb, and a very clean and elegant finish!
Pretty good wine. Dark Berry upfront with Licorice aftertaste. Hits the nose pretty good.
