Lively and focused, with tart raspberry, herb and sweet floral flavors, framed by firm tannins that linger. An excellent value. Drink now.
I donrsquo;t know how Rosenblum does it! With so many different Zinfandel bottlings, the Rhone Ranger category, standard Bordeaux varietals as well as a few whites, it is remarkable that his wines seem to get better and better regardless of vintage conditions. This is the twenty-fifth rendition of this stunning wine value that is better than many full-throttle Zinfandels that sell for twice the price. The non-vintage Vintnerrsquo;s Cuvee XXV exhibits a deep ruby color in addition to a beautifully sweet nose of black cherries, raspberries, pepper, earth, and spice. Rich and medium-bodied, with soft tannin and well-integrated acidity, this beauty will drink well for 2ndash;3 years. Frugal-minded consumers are likely to make case purchases.
Superripe tasting, with gobs of raspberry jam flavors and a spicy, cedary note that's a bit rustic and tannic, but nothing that a slice of pizza won't resolve. Drink now.
Lovely, bright jammy cherry and raspberry fruit with hints of black pepper and spice is the main focus of this fruit-centered wine. It is a very friendly, drinkable, zesty style of Zinfandel at a very affordable price - a versatile wine that goes well with pasta, barbecue meats and poultry, and Italian and Mediterranean style foods.
This is a good price for a wine of this caliber. Rich and thick in jammy cherry, mocha and spice flavors. Dry, and with ripe, sweet tannins, it's a little hot in alcohol, but just fine with ribs slathered in sauce.
Zin fanatics of the world rejoice! Rosenblumrsquo;s Vintnerrsquo;s Cuveacute;e (a blend of wines from various regions) is delightfully delicious and amazingly affordable. The lovely raspberry and cherry fruit and surprising complexity would complement barbecue, bratwurst or baked beans. This is a wine to buy by the case.
