Inky-purple in the glass; the nose is firm, showing blackberry, black cherry and black plum essence. The palate is packed with rich, jammy dark fruit and blueberry compote accented by big, palate-warming tannins and toasty spice. This wine is like a big overstuffed chair, cozy and loveable, with enough support to keep you begging for more. In a word: delicious.
