Kathy’s Cuvée Viognier emanates Rosenblum style: hedonistic, with rich, honeyed stone fruit pierced by a radiant minerality that lifts the flavors and illuminates the voluptuous side of this varietal. A heady perfume of white flowers and ripe nectarines finds a sweet, wet stone minerality as the wine glides through the senses. The palate is fat and silky—oily limestone on a canvas of sensuous flowers and fruit—as flavors slide and elongate into the finish. Well balanced with depth and complexity. Grapes are grapes from Fess Parker Vineyard in Santa Barbara County. Four months of aok aging rounds out the flavors.
