Rosenblum Appellation Kathys Cuvee Viognier 2009
Fragrant and Fun! Beautiful nose filled with floral notes and hearty apricots. Mild acididy with a long(ish) finish. Enjoyed this with some baked brei early new years eve. Cheers!Add winemaker's notes
RiceSelect's creamy Arborio gets blended with sweet potato, coconut milk and vanilla to create this decadent cheesecake. Pairs well with Saunternes; a white dessert wine that has hints of coconut from aging in oak barrels.

External Reviews for Rosenblum Appellation Kathys Cuvee Viognier
Kathy’s Cuvée Viognier emanates Rosenblum style: hedonistic, with rich, honeyed stone fruit pierced by a radiant minerality that lifts the flavors and illuminates the voluptuous side of this varietal. A heady perfume of white flowers and ripe nectarines finds a sweet, wet stone minerality as the wine glides through the senses. The palate is fat and silky—oily limestone on a canvas of sensuous flowers and fruit—as flavors slide and elongate into the finish. Well balanced with depth and complexity. Grapes are grapes from Fess Parker Vineyard in Santa Barbara County. Four months of aok aging rounds out the flavors.
