I tried a bottle I just purchased tonight. I smelled hideous. I couldn't finish a glass. I would only recommend this for use as a means of torture or for use in washing your feet.
The 2009 RES has a fuller body & was my favorite reliable wine for the past 2 years. I bought the 2010 RES recently because the PA State Stores sold out of the 2009. The 2010 RES tasted younger & thinner, and I was underwhelmed and disappointed. So, I will start searching for a new replacement favorite shiraz.
