Rosemount Estate's vision began in the Hunter Valley region of Australia. Though much has changed at the estate over the years, the original commitment to quality has remained pivotal to the success of the now world-famous winery that is Rosemount Estate.
RiceSelect's fragrant Jasmati® is blended with eggs, milk and fall's favorite spices, cinnamon and nutmeg, to create a delicious rice pudding, which is layered on top of fluffy cream cheese and abuttery pecan crust. Pairs well with a bold, tawny port with flavors of dried fruits, nuts, and spices.
''tremendous'' Very fruity goes down very well indeed esp when its at a nice warm room temp
Three and a half glasses
Nice shiraz to pick for that price.
Spicy. Fruity. Sweet. Balanced. Smooth.
It was a full bodied, generous wine. I have not the palate to describe it as experts do, but I definately liked it more than most reds, and plan to stock several cases.
At $6 this is a gem of a bottle. I haven't had a better bottle Shiraz anywhere near this price range. I would say buy at anything >$15 but definitely under $10. Paired well with grilled chicken and beef stew (separate meals.)

This is Everyman's Shiraz, made to appeal to the masses - and appeal it does with bouncy mixed fruit, medium body and judicious oak. The nose, too, will reel the crowds in, with its jammy grape and raspberry fruit.
Bright, jazzy and flavorful, a lively mouthfull of blackberry, cherry, pepper and floral flavors, which linger nicely on the balanced finish. Much improved over 2001, but it's a lighter style than it used to be. Drink now through 2004.
Filled with bright, bouncy cherry-berry fruit and imbued with a slightly viscous mouthfeel, this fun, gulpable Shiraz won't break the bank. Its easygoing nature makes it worth having on hand for your next barbecue.
A very good year for the Diamond Label Shiraz. It's a chunky, sturdy red with mixed plums and a ribbon of mocha or chocolate from the nose through to the finish. Not overdone, and very enjoyable.
Round and accessible, this is another easy-drinking wine from Rosemount. Blackberry, plum and dried spice flavors are varietally correct and displayed on a couch of soft tannins.
A treasure from down under, this wine has intensely rich opulent fruit, and will seduce your palate with sweet cassis harmoniously wrapped in warm, spicy, vanilla-scented oak.
Ripe and juicy. A supple mouthful of berry and cherry fruit shaded with pretty vanilla and spice notes. Everything lasts impressively on the round finish. Drink now through 2003.
