Rosemount Estate's vision began in the Hunter Valley region of Australia. Though much has changed at the estate over the years, the original commitment to quality has remained pivotal to the success of the now world-famous winery that is Rosemount Estate.
I had my first bottle March 2008 and have had 2 since, most recently October 2009. I really like this wine. Wonderful mature nose with berries, cedar, leather and smooth, full bodied flavor. Fantastic with a good steak.
A hedonistic, completely irresistible South Australian shiraz: flavourful and very full-bodied, for sure, but all the elements are in balance; harmonious, seamless, with a long finish. If you don't like this, then high-quality New World shiraz is simply simply not for you.
