The resulting fruit ripened quickly and well and was harvested early with good, full flavors, fine structure and balance. This wine was matured in stainless steel to maintain varietal purity. The resulting wine nose has a vibrant, varietal lift, showing cut grass and green pea aromas, with a hint of riper fruits developing as the wine breathes. Initially fresh and crisp, the palate fills out with layers of grassy flavors, intermingled with ripe passion-fruit and tropical fruit notes. This wine shows the distinctive Rosemount fruit-full and supple palate, with a nice line of acid providing a clean, long finish.
