Rosemount Estate Pinot Noir Mclaren Vale 2007
Since 1974, Rosemount has been one of Australia's leading wineries, producing wines that reflect the riches of the Australian climate and a dedication to quality, innovation and . Rosemount's unique diamond shaped label serves as a beacon for consumers around the world, with international accolades bearing testament to the tradition of winemaking excellence. In 2006, a new chapter has opened on the Rosemount story, with a reinforced commitment to the hallmark Rosemount wine and groundbreaking new packaging which sees Rosemount again setting the standard for innovation and quality on a global scale. The Diamond Label Series is the heart of Rosemount. Stylish and sophisticated, these wines display the fruit forward, easy-drinking sensibilities which make them delicious from the first sip to the final delectable drop. The 2007 vintage was difficult with low Winter temperatures threatening severe frosts followed by unusually high Summer temperatures which placed pressure on water resources. The resulting fruit ripened quickly and well and was harvested early with good, full flavors, fine structure and balance. The wine offers a solid fruit nose, with notes of red fruit, Turkish delight and touches of rose petal. A velvety soft palate with generous red fruit flavors supported by balanced tannins and soft acid. Oak notes offer support to the layers of flavor, and the long, expressive finish.
Rosemount Estate's vision began in the Hunter Valley region of Australia. Though much has changed at the estate over the years, the original commitment to quality has remained pivotal to the success of the now world-famous winery that is Rosemount Estate.
excellent cheap pinot noir !!!
Was able to finish the bottle
This wine has a strong berry bouquet, but the fruity flavor does not come out unless the wine is given time to breathe.
