A first-rate Merlot, this big-boned wine has juicy, rich flavors that explode out of the glass and last right through the rich, long finish. It's generous, but well made, with nice oak shadings. This is the kind of wine to bring along to the beach. Everyone will like it.
Smooth and round, with generous currant and berry flavors that echo nicely on the firm finish.
Reflects rich and generous aromatics that offer an array of dark plums and sweet red apples. Flavors are plump and ripe with layers of dark cherries set against a well integrated vanillin oak character.
Light and appealing for its red berry and dried herb flavors, finishing simple and with some generosity. Drink now.
Deep with a lively purple rim reflecting the classic plum characters of this variety. The aroma is rich and generous, offering an array of dark plums and sweet red apples. The palate is plump and ripe with layers of dark cherry flavors set against well integrated oak and ripe tannins on a long smooth finish.
Aromas are lactic and creamy out of the gate, and go sweet and candied with air. Fruit on the palate is lackluster, the smooth wood flavors and feel dominating.
Strawberry aromas combine with flavors of blood plum, spice and subtle vanillin hints. Natural juicy acidity frames the palate, and supple tannins add good length to the finish. Ideally suited to beef, lamb, and veal.
The Diamond Label Series is the heart of Rosemount. Stylish and sophisticated, these wines display the fruit forward, easy-drinking sensibilities which make them delicious from the first sip to the final delectable drop.
