Aromas are lactic and creamy out of the gate, and go sweet and candied with air. Fruit on the palate is lackluster, the smooth wood flavors and feel dominating.
Ripe, fleshy and appealing for its raspberry and currant flavors. Hints at mint and cream as the finish lingers. Drink now through 2009.
A first-rate Merlot, this big-boned wine has juicy, rich flavors that explode out of the glass and last right through the rich, long finish. It's generous, but well made, with nice oak shadings. This is the kind of wine to bring along to the beach. Everyone will like it.
Smooth and round, with generous currant and berry flavors that echo nicely on the firm finish.
Light and appealing for its red berry and dried herb flavors, finishing simple and with some generosity. Drink now.
A highly versatile variety that lends itself to richly flavored wine styles. Deeply colored with a rich aroma of ripe plums and sweet red apples. The palate is plump and ripe with layers of dark cherry flavors set against moderate oak and a long, smooth finish.
