I had a bottle of rosemont 2003 merlot. Opened it the other night and it had gone off - vinegar almost. Anyone else have this experience with this wine?

A first-rate Merlot, this big-boned wine has juicy, rich flavors that explode out of the glass and last right through the rich, long finish. It's generous, but well made, with nice oak shadings. This is the kind of wine to bring along to the beach. Everyone will like it.
