Aromas are fresh and clean with well defined gooseberry-like varietal characteristics. Flavors are bone-dry with crisp, zesty fruit. A bright clean acidity combines with green gooseberry and kiwi fruit notes that extend through the palate with a nice refreshing finish.

The 2000 Sauvignon Blanc exhibits a light straw color as well as a fragrant perfume of citrus, figs, and melons. Medium-bodied, clean, crisp and deliciously fruity, it will drink well for 8-12 months.
Subtle, fresh green notes give this Sauvignon Blanc a clean, dry mouthfeel and make it a good accompaniment to rich foods. Lime and floral notes dominate the bouquet: fresh green herb, green apple and a little passion fruit brighten the palate. Finishes dry, with tangy lime and mineral notes.
Light and almost crisp, with a tight bud of pear and earthy mineral flavors that shows more charm than most Hunter Sèmillons at this stage.
This is a little soft and low-acid but the fruit aromas and flavors are quite pleasant, with pineapple and grapefruit predominating. There's some weight - even a succulent quality - to the fruit that keeps the flavor and texture lingering on the back end.
