A perennial value-priced favorite, and easy to find. The mouthfeel in this edition is odd mdash; strangely chalky, or milky. But its zingy lemon zest and yellow peach aromas are nice, as is the stone fruit that plays prominently on the palate.
Light and fragrant, this is a graceful Chardonnay that offers gentle spice and cream overtones to the soft pear and apple flavors. Drink now.
Nose shows nougat, hickory smoke, nut and light pear aromas. Pear is the big player on the palate, too, where itrsquo;s accentuated by vanilla and couched in a full, almost viscous, mouthfeel. Finishes with smooth oak and chalk.
From one of Down Underrsquo;s most dependable wineries, this rich, fragrant wine has lots to offer. Therersquo;s plenty of ripe peach and tropical fruit and also a wallop of oak. Itrsquo;s full-flavored, and finishes spicy and a little sweet.
Fresh peach and melon aromas with a hint of citrus. A rich palate of flavors folded over a creamy backdrop.
Ripe, fat and juicy fruit is braced with refreshing acidity which ends clean with hints of butter and spice in the nose.
Mainstream Chardonnay has been a mainstay for this dependable and recently-merged-with-Southcorp family enterprise. The orange and mild tropical fruit bouquet has just a kiss of oak, and some mild spice notes enter on the palate. The even mouthfeel and just slightly tangy finish keep this lightly sweet and sour, round mdash; but not mushy mdash; wine right on target.
