Firm in texture but appealing, with ripe currant and blueberry flavors that echo on the ripe finish. Drink now through 2002.

Strong berry flavors, fairly good body, and enough of a finish to prevent dissappointment. I'd say about a 85, but the pricing probably inflates that a bit. It's extremelly hard not to recommend, especially since it's not too hard to find for $6-8 on sales fairly regularly.

This is crisp in texture, but broad enough to display its cherry and herbal flavors nicely. Finishes with grace. Drink now.

An excellent value is the Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot. It is a fruit-driven effort revealing the personalities of its blend. The rich, full. forward 2000 reveals no evidence of wood. Soft and lush, with low acidity, it will drink well for 1-2 years.

Availability shouldn't be a problem with this crisp Cabernet, appealing for its fresh berry and currant flavors, picking up some nice hints of brown sugar and spice on the finish. Rosemount does it again, at an affordable price. Best from 1999 or 2000.

Medium-bodied and easy to drink, there's sweet plum fruit and oak front and center, with a bran or oak note on the follow-through. Nicely built.

...exhibits more color, structure and tannin. It offers herb-tinged, cassis fruit, medium body, and lovely flavor extraction in the moderately long finish. It should drink well for 5-6 years.

Plump, soft and friendly, this is a prime example of the easy-drinking wines that Rosemount is turning out. There's plenty of cassis fruit, along with hints of chocolate, plum and a hint of mint.
