Winemaker's Notes:

Colour - Deep ruby with crimson hues. Nose - A distinctive Cabernet nose showing lovely, expressive fruit aromas of cassis and red cherry with hints of briar character. Palate - A wine with a soft, fruit driven palate with bright expressive fruit and great texture. Great midpalate fruit flavours lead to a generous finish, supported by lovely, fine tannins.

Not bad for a $7 wine from the grocery store.

An excellent value is the Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot. It is a fruit-driven effort revealing the personalities of its blend. The rich, full. forward 2000 reveals no evidence of wood. Soft and lush, with low acidity, it will drink well for 1-2 years.

Crisp and appealing for its straightforward currant and dark berry fruit. Drink now.

Dark in color, juicy in flavor, with pretty currant and mineral aromas and flavors that echo on the light finish. Drink now through 2004.

Medium-bodied and easy to drink, there's sweet plum fruit and oak front and center, with a bran or oak note on the follow-through. Nicely built.

Plump, soft and friendly, this is a prime example of the easy-drinking wines that Rosemount is turning out. There's plenty of cassis fruit, along with hints of chocolate, plum and a hint of mint.

This is crisp in texture, but broad enough to display its cherry and herbal flavors nicely. Finishes with grace. Drink now.

Shows a deep crimson body with a lively pink edge. There are excellent varietal characters on the nose combining with fresh berry aromas and subtle, smoky hints of well integrates oak. The palate shows rich, blackcurrant fruit flavors with well defined tannins and a lingering aftertaste of wood smoke and ripe summer fruits.
