Rosemount Diamond Label Cabernet Sauvignon 2009
Colour - Deep ruby with crimson hues. Nose - A distinctive Cabernet nose showing lovely, expressive fruit aromas of cassis and red cherry with hints of briar character. Palate - A wine with a soft, fruit driven palate with bright expressive fruit and great texture. Great midpalate fruit flavours lead to a generous finish, supported by lovely, fine tannins.
Rosemount Estate's vision began in the Hunter Valley region of Australia. Though much has changed at the estate over the years, the original commitment to quality has remained pivotal to the success of the now world-famous winery that is Rosemount Estate.
Not bad for a $7 wine from the grocery store.

Medium-bodied and easy to drink, there's sweet plum fruit and oak front and center, with a bran or oak note on the follow-through. Nicely built.
Plump, soft and friendly, this is a prime example of the easy-drinking wines that Rosemount is turning out. There's plenty of cassis fruit, along with hints of chocolate, plum and a hint of mint.
