Rose Vinegar 2011
Light rose in color with a shiny copper hue. The floral aroma hints of a freshly cut wildflower field. The mouth is filled with fresh berries and a note of wild strawberries. There is a beautiful lightness about this Rose, with great balance between the ripe fruit and acidity and the fine tannins, as well as a natural and refreshing CO2 mousse retained from the cold, slow fermentation process. This dry wine offers an elegant and refreshing finish with great minerality. This is a classic Wolffer Rose.
Wölffer Estate an American Winery in the Classic European Tradition. Sagaponack, New York: Here, in the heart of the Hamptons, a collection of quaint villages stretched like a string of pearls on the shores of the Atlantic, is Wölffer Estate, a winery like none other on the east end of Long Island.
Jasmine flowers and light perfume on the nose. Crisp and fresh on the tongue with a bit of acidity. Light ruby red grapefruit and apricot. Fizzy -a bit of carbonation and acidic finish.
