Add your reviewClassic Cab aromas--green pepper, currants, even a touch of pencil lead. Spicy, rich cassis fruit with lots of green pepper and slightly vegetal notes to add complexity. Spicy finish, well-integrated tannins at this point. Still has another 1-2 years in my opinion left in it.
I'm an extreme Cabernet Sauvignon fan...it's my go-to wine when I don't know what I'm in the mood for. It's my dessert in a glass. It's my husband when my husband is out of town...just kidding. But seriously, this wine is incredible for its price...(though I've tasted wines more than 20x this price and have been incredibly disappointed, so price means nothing to me). Very jammy. Wonderful with heavier dishes, such as wild boar (divine), polenta with a red tomato sauce (try splashing a little in the sauce when you're cooking it), or even with chocolate...this varietal is quite versitile!
