Garnet color; flavors of ripe red berries. Medium-bodied with instant fruit. Aromas are very different from a Bordeaux, a little more austere but quite good! Flavors of more mature wine although this wine will taste better in 2005. This is a good example of a good red from Friuli. A wine that can keep for 5 to 6 years. Ideal with northern Italian cuisine or even with pasta. This wine should age one more year to reach its peak. It will then be good until 2008. For the adventurous, this is a wine to enjoy with food such as salted pork, "pasta al forno", goulash and salamis.
