Bold and rich in color this powerful estate wine brilliantly incorporates the taste of cassis, black cherry and leather. It is an incredibly delicious with mild tannins. A truly solid red wine served with grilled meats, sausage or strong cheese.

- This is a fantastic bottle of wine at a great value! The nose hints at baking chocolate beneath aromas of cherries and hot peppers, like dinner and dessert being cooked at the same time. My mouth is watering as I go in for the first sip. The cherries carry from the nose into the flavor, with hints of sharp cheddar and sarsaparilla. The second sip is sweeter, with hints of candied fruit but not FAKE fruit. Phenomenal. The finish lingers with spices and fruit. I cannot get over the fantastic value of this wine. If you can get your hands on a bottle, GET YOUR HANDS ON TWO!

- For some reason that song reminds me of root beer. Like this wine. . . . no really, when you inhale deeply the aromas range from bright red plum, and licorice to cassis and sarsaparilla. Delicious. On the palate it is flavors of blackberries and plums dancing with the crazy pickle? Hmmm . . . . maybe it's young, or maybe it's me, but the mid-palate and finish left a little to be desired. I honestly think for the price it's a great buy, and to be sure, it will lay down and maybe even grow up a little.
