Ron Lilly Wines Terisa Chardonnay(2006)

rich straight forward balanced Chardonnay, light touch of butter and vanilla precede luscious fruit of ripe apples, pears & pineapples with a crisp mouthwatering finish.

we all know that chardonnay is one of the three most popular varietals in the country....by far. we also know that there are way too many cheap, over-oaked, fake chards, so when i say this is a classic card, I am ignoring the majority of the typical chards out there. the nose is tropical and clean with hints of citrus, and the mouthfeel follows the same trend. My favorite part of this wine, is despite its oak barrel fermentation, it does not taste over the top oaky, but rather is very pleasant and crisp...Im not usually a chardonnay fan, but I would gladly drink this one again....

Strike it rich with Terisa! Packed with green apples and peaches on the nose, this golden girl has opened my mind. One sip and I'm ga ga for the pineapple, kiwi, and lemony freshness of this Chardonnay. For a barrel fermented Chardonnay this is surprisingly bright, with incredible acidity, and a creamy lemon-lime finish. I feel so lucky I think I'll pick up a lotto ticket!
