This is a mouthful of sweet, juicy Zin that absolutely charms the taste buds from start to luscious finish. Not only is it terrific with grilled steak or lamb, it's a great "date" wine because it is so yummy with dark chocolate. Talk about cherry flavors! Ripe, medium-bodied and gorgeous to look at, there is nothing here not to like.

Perfect for making (and drinking with) coq au vin. If ever a wine paired perfectly with the bacon I stole out of the dutch oven, it's this one. Lots of cherry and the pepper is there but I think I couldn't detect it as well what with all the salty bacon flavor in my mouth. This one is easy to find at several stores, get it while you can. I think it's an excellent value.

Had a half-bottle last night and it was sensational... very vibrant red-fruit, ultra silky-smooth, persistent finish. Went very well with seafood fra diavolo, holding up to the chilis.
