Rombauer Vineyards Zinfandel California 2008
Wine Tasting Notes Rombauer Vineyards' Zinandel represents the very essence of California Zinfandel. Full bodied, fruit forward, and juicy, this wine boasts bright aromas of black cherry and plum, with a light spicy character all it's own. Layers of cranberries, plums, and dark berries flow together for a rich, full flavor with a sensational mouth feel. A dark berry fruit finish lingers on the palate, complementing the rich flavors of this beautiful wine.
Jammy and very round. Very lightly sweet and middle of the road pepper. Long fruity finish
Rich, juicy and jammy zinfandel perfect for drinking alone or with a great steak, lamb chops or chocolate. Simply superb.
A very pleasant surprise! Bold, sweet, bursting with berry flavors, yet with a smooth finish. A bit pricey for an every day wine at $35.00 per bottle. A very nice special occasion wine with a tri-tip roast, prime rib, or pasta. Always a good choice when going to a dinner party.

Ripe and complex, concentrated with rich, juicy, bright plum, wild berry, black cherry and spicy, peppery notes. Impressive for its core of fruit, balanced, supple tannins and fruity aftertaste. Drink now through 2004.
