Add your reviewOne of the most amazing Chardonnays I have tasted, everything about this Napa vintage is close to perfect. Color, nose, taste... It all blends together to be one of the best wine drinking experiences available. Especially note the obviously present buttery taste. And though it's hard not to want to drink it all quickly because of how good it is, your patience will pay off as it opens and adds new layers of complexity both on the nose and tongue. Enjoy! (I certainly did!)
Heavy notes of butter, oak - full bodied white wine that is very drinkable on its own
Exceptional! Every bottle of this special wine has been a hit - with all drinkers. While it's buttery smooth, the fruit bears witness to a wine that a simple drinker can enjoy. The oak is present, but only in the background as a compliment, as if the producer added it with a salt shaker. We prefer this with a meal, particularly spicy pastas and seafood dishes.
citrus apples, pears, melon and hints of vanilla on the nose. The palate is overpowered by oak, vanilla, buttery popcorn with little hits of citrus fruit an acidity trying to creep through. Fruit dominates.
Sweet rich nose with a lot of oak. Nice lemon zest on entry, however, this is an oak monster! Its a fat wine (phat!), fairly mineral with a vanilla creme finish. For oak lovers.
