Romanee St Vivant Hudelot Noellat(2003)
Good bright, deep red. Tangy aromas of raspberry liqueur, cocoa powder and brown spices. Fat, thick and minerally, with surprising lift. A very large-scaled, full wine that somehow avoids heaviness. Chewy, sappy, spicy and very long, with major, ripe tannins buried under fruit and sweet oak.
