- Mid crimson. Slightly animal notes as though the grapes got a bit too ripe on the on the palate there is good, appetizing, racy, transparent fruit. Lots of acidity. Wonderful array of eight flavours on the official spec sheet include 'soft cola nuances' (a local characteristic, I was told), 'fennel fronds' and 'wet smoke'. Slightly sickly finish.
