Very good array of flavors, including racy citrus, juicy pear, honeysuckle, fresh nutmeg and nutty oak. Silky on the palate, with a long, fresh finish. Ready to drink now and over the next couple of years.

One of my favorite sparkling wines for its balance and complexity. I find it to offer subtle but distinct layers of fruit, as well easygoing acidity that isn't bracing. It's smooth and lean, but there's an element of richness as well. I have a magnum in the cellar and it should be interesting to see if it has evolved along the lines of the 750 ml's.
