Wine Enthusiast ReviewRated 92Fully ready to drink now, this dry brut shows the classy elegance of a fine Champagne. The Chardonnay contributes white peaches and apples, while Pinot adds a subtle note of cherries with spicy, yeasty nuances. At 80,000 cases, it's a notable achievement.Wine & Spirits ReviewRated 92Broad in texture, layered with tart apples and sweeter baked apple flavors, this has a clean freshness that lasts. A touch of leesy spice hints at its complexities... This is a distinguished California sparkler, presenting the cool Anderson Valley at its best.

Tasted in 750 ml and magnum bottles on same day. The 750: Very lively in the mouth, with aromas and flavors of yellow delicious apples, hazelnut, and toast. Creamy mousse, fine bead. The magnum: tastes very different due to longer time on the lees--much creamier and toastier, a very rich version of the brut in the smaller bottle.

This really is good, and amazing value for the price. Pale straw in color, abundant mousse, small bead. Aromas of brioche and meyer lemon. Palate of apples, toast, and a firm, nutty edge. Just terrific.
